When consumers purchase goods, they mostly visit physical stores and select items in person. This is considered common consumer behavior. However, since the Internet became available, things have been changing. An increasing number of people now shop online, having their purchases delivered to their homes.
People who often shop online like this way of shopping for two main reasons. One clear benefit of online shopping is convenience: customers can buy things at any time without going out. Another advantage is that shoppers have many more options: they can choose from a far wider range of goods offered by retailers, even from around the world.
However, online shopping has some drawbacks. One of them is the difficulty of making the right decision. Because customers cannot directly compare products beforehand and have so many choices, it can be difficult to select the best one. Even worse, they may receive items whose quality is far below their expectations.
